The Technology and Information Systems Division is responsible for planning and managing the computing and information systems of the Israel Land Authority which serve as strategic infrastructure for achieving the Authority's goals, improving work processes, decision making, and enhancing public service.
The division develops and upgrades information systems in various fields, including financial systems, geography, mapping and zoning, land ownership, real estate transactions, title registration, payments, and more. The IT division works to reduce processing times and streamline services, including additional online and computerized services.
Key Activities of the Division:
- Formulating policy, analyzing information system needs, and finding suitable solutions.
- Establishing a stable, resilient, and available infrastructure for all information systems.
- Designing and developing new and advanced information systems, with an emphasis on performance, availability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Developing online services and applications for target audiences (such as contractors, lawyers, certified surveyors, appraisers, and the general public).
- Providing information and services on the authority's website and mobile application.
- Upgrading and optimizing existing database systems.
- Managing information security and implementing technologies to safeguard data.
- Promoting collaboration with government authorities and ministries, such as the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Economy, the Land Registration Bureau at the Ministry of Justice, and others.
