"The role of the Physicians and Medical Professions Directorate for new olim is to create a community, professional, and family safety net for new olim in the medical professions. The directorate accompanies olim through the licensing and specialty recognition process, and assists with placement in hospitals and in the community.

The directorate also organizes additional training such as: basic Hebrew language studies and Hebrew medical terminology, and provides assistance with community integration in areas including housing, employment, children's education, and more."
