The Nursing Division is a ministerial body that was established in 1994. The division leads the nursing sector in the State of Israel. 71,000 thousand people are employed in the sector. It is the beating heart of the healthcare system.
The main purpose of the division is formulating policy in the framework of the Ministry of Health state lines of action, creating partnerships, and promoting the strategic plan of the Ministry of Health. The division takes actions to increase the number of nurses, enhance their professional development, and utilize the potential of the workforce.
