About
The Digital Technologies and Information Department is responsible for the development and maintenance of office information systems; development and maintenance of software, hardware and communications infrastructure; implementation of computing systems; training of office workers in the field of computing systems; running an information center and handling information security.
The department's roles:
- Development of information systems for full and flexible support of the work processes with an integrative vision and in accordance with ministry strategy and objectives.
- Collecting data and providing tools and infrastructure at all levels: strategic, administrative and operational, for the management and analysis of knowledge and information.
- Integrating and sharing information with people and organizations that work closely with the ministry.
- Providing quality service by implementing advanced technologies in development, maintenance and implementation of applications and infrastructure.
- Providing and improving direct service to citizens, businesses and companies.
- Maintaining information security and quality control standards.
