About
The Information Systems and Computing Division is entrusted with the planning, establishment, management and operation of the computing system of the courts system, including computing and communication infrastructures, information systems, information and cyber security, command and control systems, landline and mobile telephone communication, advanced communication and amplification solutions (Audio and Video) and various other technological solutions.
The division supports the advancement and the realization of the strategic and operational objectives of the Judicial Authority, and produces infrastructure and tools for the purpose of improving and streamlining work processes, decision-making and resource allocation through advanced solutions and technologies, and works to promote, among other things, the improvement of service to the public.
The Information Systems and Computing Division invests a lot of effort in promoting the accessibility of services and information to the public, including advanced websites, applications, online services, advanced systems for serving those who arrive to the gates of the courts and other additional services. All this while improving and maintaining the existing array of information.
The various services are offered both for target audiences (such as: government entities, lawyers, litigants, assisting parties, research entities, etc.), and for the general public, and are operated while ensuring the reliability and the integrity of the information, business continuity and a high level of availability.
Also, great emphasis is given to the transparency and the accessibility of information by virtue of the Freedom of Information Law 5758 – 1998, and the principle of public hearings, while maintaining privacy and strict adherence to confidentiality of information.
The division promotes dozens of new projects every year in various IT fields, and is entrusted, among other things, with development, maintenance and operation of the websites of the Judicial Authority, the" Net Ha’Mishpat" system, a court files management system for the Supreme Court and many scores of systems to support the day-to-day operation of the courts system.
The various information systems are based on solutions from the forefront of technology.
The division also promotes collaborations with authorities, government ministries and external parties in order to improve work processes and the flow of information through online interfaces.
The division is authorized for international standards in information security (ISO/IEC-27001), cyber protection (ISO/IEC-27032), cloud security (ISO/IEC-27017), and protection of personally identifiable information in the cloud (ISO/IEC-27018).
