Foreign Policy Division
About
The Division is responsible for coordinating the staff work that relates to foreign policy for the prime minister and the head of the NSC.
The Division's Responsibilities:
- To analyze the global arena, identify interests and threats, formulate recommendations for diplomatic strategy and policy, and for the diplomatic interactions of the prime minister and the head of the NSC.
- To prepare documents for meetings, telephone conversations and visits for the prime minister and the head of the NSC, based on the integration of information received from all the government bodies.
- Formulate annual and periodic assessments related to the international arena.
- Coordinate and lead strategic dialogues with the United States and European countries.
- The Division works closely with all government ministries and security agencies in order to perform its duties.
- Formulate a diplomatic advisory opinion related to civil issues, such as climate change and technology, which have political implications.
