Chief Scientist
About
The Chief Scientist Office is responsible for research and development and provides scientific and technological support to the Ministry in setting policies and decision making. The unit strives to collect, study, and assimilate knowledge; it supports research and development for achieving technological goals and creating physical and human infrastructures for implementation of the Ministry's policy, with emphasis on innovation and promoting entrepreneurship. The unit encourages international collaborations and promotes the formation of local knowledge centers and original technologies that fit Israel's needs and that may contribute to the economy today and in the future.
