Spokesperson’s Office

The Ministry’s Spokesperson Dept. is responsible for the ongoing contact between the Ministry and the various media outlets in Israel and around the world, and is also in charge of the publicity of the policy and the reforms that the Ministry is effecting in the Israeli communications market.
The Spokesperson Dept. is involved in initiating articles and publishing announcements that deal with the Ministry’s areas of activity, and the Department also responds to press inquiries.
The Spokesperson Dept. is also responsible for organizing briefings and press conferences, preparing and accompanying the Ministry’s representatives who participate in committees and conferences. The spokesperson Dept. is also in charge of the publications appearing on the Ministry's website, running the social media of the Ministry of Communications and the provision of information to the citizens by mean of running targeted campaigns in a variety of media.
In parallel, the Ministry's Spokesperson Dept. is also in charge of representing the Israeli public vis-à-vis the various entities at the Ministry of Communications, both through the handling of inquiries from journalists, as well as in the ongoing monitoring of public inquiries received by the Ministry regarding the Ministry’s areas of responsibilities.
