Custodian of Absentee Properties Department

The Custodian of Absentee Properties Department is responsible for implementation of three laws: the Absentees Property Law - 1950, the German Property Law – 1950, and the Absentees’ Property (Compensation) Law – 1973, including the legal aspects of these laws. The Department's area of responsibility and activity is nationwide. In the framework of its work, the Department has extensive work relations with all government ministries and relevant statutory authorities, and provides service to the general public.
