The Public Relations Unit of the Ministry of Tourism presents the work of the ministry to the public through printed, digital and new media, by press notifications, initiated articles, response to inquiries, and more. Furthermore, the Public Relations Unit promotes the tourism industry and the importance of its development by the ministry.

The Unit acts to raise the support of public opinion and decision makers for the ministry's work regarding tourism, which is a major economic engine. In 2015 the Public Relations Unit of the Ministry of Tourism was rated first on government transparency survey initiated by the 100 Days of Transparency Project and the Movement for the Freedom of Information, with the participation of hundreds of journalists.
