As of June 1, 2017, the Population Authority will issue biometric ID cards and travel documents to all residents. Important points for your information:
Update regarding how to submit applications for IDs and passports:
Starting from Thursday, 1.6.2017, infilitrators asking to extend their permit in Be'er Sheva, are asked to contact our office in Bnei Brak. Office's address: Mivtza Kadesh 64, Bnei Brak. Sun.-Thurs. from 8:00-16:00. Eilat's opening hours at office remains the same.

This service enables Israeli citizens to renew a lost, damaged or stolen ID appendix, online.
NEW! Citizens carrying smart biometric ID cards, can receive the new appendix immediately, when applying at the self-service stands.

This service enables permanent residents who are not Israeli citizens to apply for a biometric travel document
This service enables Israeli citizens to apply for a regular or business (64 page) Israeli biometric passport or renew a biometric passport.
