What is RSS?
It's an easy way to get personalized automatic updates to you PC, without browsing for them.
How does it work?
An RSS program reads the RSS files you have registered to and finds knew content. It then transfers the content to your computer where you installed the RSS program.
How do you get RSS updates?
To get news and content updates, you first need to install an RSS program. Before you do, check to see if your browser natively supports RSS. If it does, you won’t need to install a program.
Step 1 – Download an RSS program
You can find lots of free RSS programs online, such as http://www.rssreader.com
Step 2 – Select what content you want to get
This page has all the gov.il RSS channels. Select one of the icons to register for updates. You might need to copy the channel's URL and paste it manually into your RSS program.
Step 3 – Viewing updates
Your RSS program periodically scans for updates. You can view the updates, or use the link to navigate directly to the page content, at any time.
