Statistics, Research and Knowledge Management Department

The Statistics, Research and Information Management Department is mainly occupied with the following subjects:

1. Collecting, optimizing and analyzing data regarding the tourism industry in Israel;

2. Regular reports regarding tourism in Israel, including tourist entry, tourist accommodation and new relevant researches regarding tourism.

3. Promoting surveys and studies regarding tourism, including an annual survey of incoming tourists in Israel.

4. Various processing work on survey data.

5. Management of a library containing around 8,000 items, including books, articles and journals.

6. Work with international organizations (OECD, UNWTO, EUROSTAT, INROUTE).
