- Taphonomy and molluscan shell preservation.

Main projects and grants:
- Are baselines shifting in the Gulf of Eilat? Bivalve death assemblages from sedimentary cores as key indicators (funded by BSF).
- Benthic macrofaunal-based environmental assessment of the middle Jurassic formations in outcrop from southern and northern Israel (funded by the Chief Scientist, Ministry of Infrastructures Energy and Water Resources).
