The Israel Houses

The Ministry of Aliyah and Integration operates a unique project for maintaining contact with Israelis living outside of Israel through the embassies and consulates abroad – the Israel Houses. The main purpose of the Israel House is to provide advice and guidance for those interested in returning home, and to provide personal support and counseling in planning the return.

The Israel House, an extension of the State of Israel abroad, is a reliable and supportive resource for any Israeli interested in returning home.

Another additional role of the Israel House is to preserve the link for Israelis with the State of Israel through events and gatherings that allow them to express their Israeli identity, in a Hebrew - speaking environment, and to experience Israel's public holidays and religious festivals by participating in social and cultural activities with an Israeli orientation.

These activities include:

• Conferences and information evenings
• Holiday events
• Cultural and educational events
• Activities for children and young people
• Hebrew Study
• And more

There are currently Israel Houses operating throughout the world as listed below:

• In the U.S.: New York, Washington, Boston, Miami, Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston* and Chicago*
• In Canada
• In Europe: Paris, London, and Berlin
• In Russia: Moscow
• In Ukraine: Kiev
