National Insurance Benefits
The NII pays allowances to those who cannot work for a living, either temporarily or permanently, or need income support for other reasons: children, aged persons, disabled, mothers after birth, unemployed, injured workers, and many more. This page on the NII website offers detailed information on all types on allowances, including eligibility, rates, instructions and forms (forms are currently in Hebrew).
From Birth to Old Age
This page presents National Insurance benefits according to phases in the cycle of life, from birth to old age: marriage, pregnancy and maternity, employment changes, retirement, and more.
Target Populations
For your convenience, this page presents NI benefits arranged according to audiences. You can find information on benefits relevant to the group you belong to: women, senior citizens, soldiers, employees, students, disabled persons, etc.
Insurance Payments
National Insurance benefits and allowances are funded by insurance contributions made by all citizens, according to their income level. Contributions are deducted automatically from employees' monthly salaries, and are supplemented by employer contributions. Additional deductions are made for compulsory health insurance, which entitles every citizen to a wide range of subsidized health services.
Forms & Authorizations
You can file claims for National Insurance benefits using printable forms on the NII website (forms are currently in Hebrew only), arranged according to subjects and target populations. The website also enables you to order various authorizations on entitlement to benefits and NII payments, to be sent to you by mail.
National Insurance Payment Site
The NII payment site (in Hebrew) enables you to pay various national insurance contributions online, using credit cards or bank transfers.
